Diploma in Dental Mechanic

The Diploma in Dental Mechanic prepares students for mechanical laboratory work for a Registered Dental Surgeon. Students study basic Physics, Mechanics, Chemistry, Oral Anatomy, Dental Mechanics, and Dental Materials & Metallurgy. The course also includes basic knowledge of Computers and Medical Records Management.

Learning combines theory with practical laboratory sessions. Assessment includes an end-of-year examination in each year with Theory, Oral, and Practical components.

• A candidate should be at least 17 years at the time of admission & medically fit to pursue the course
• A candidate must have passed 10+2 or two years intermediate or equivalent course thereof with Science subjects i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University / Intermediate Board.

Citizenship: Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.
