Master of Hospital Administration

The Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) at Manipal University is a full-time postgraduate programme that develops leadership and management skills for the healthcare sector. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical application through interactive lecture sessions, case-based learning, and exposure to healthcare facilities. The programme includes leadership and management training tailored to healthcare administration.

Learning includes hospital postings in secondary care, specialty care, and tertiary care hospitals, plus internship opportunities in hospitals of Manipal Health Enterprise Pvt Limited. The Masters spans four semesters and includes a full semester dedicated to project or thesis work and internship. Students also receive training at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

• Pass with a bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably, health sciences) from a UGC-recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent).
• Additional weightage during the personal interview for candidates submitting their score card of CAT /CMAT/MAT/XAT (or an equivalent aptitude test), and/or with MBBS degree from any UGC recognized university.
• Complete all academic requirements (classes, examinations and other assessments) of the bachelor's degree on or before the admission deadline.
