About UNESCO:

UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, is a specialized agency within the United Nations system. Established in 1945, UNESCO’s mission is to contribute to peace and security by promoting international collaboration in the fields of education, science, culture, communication, and information. The organization aims to foster knowledge-sharing, the free flow of ideas, and mutual understanding among nations. UNESCO’s programs align with the Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the 2030 Agenda, focusing on education, cultural preservation, scientific cooperation, and communication to build a more just and inclusive world.
