Diploma in Business Management

Griffith College’s Diploma in Business Management is a part-time evening course designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed for effective management in a business environment. Students study four modules: Business Management, Legal Aspects of Business, Digital and AI Technologies for Business, and Finance Fundamentals. The course covers management frameworks, responsible business practices, legal principles for business, AI-focused business technology, and finance foundations including working capital and cash flow.

The Professional Diploma in Business Management runs for 24 weeks with one evening per week. It is offered in part-time online delivery (live on Zoom) and part-time on-campus delivery. Exams take place in person, and attendance at exams is mandatory. Students can progress to the BA (Hons) in Business Studies through the College policy of Advanced Prior Learning (APL).

The programme is suited to the aspiring or newly appointed manager, the team leader, the self-employed, and those interested in enhancing personal performance.

All applicants must be a user of Microsoft Office.

• Applicants under 23 years of age: Minimum of 2 H5 and 4 O6/H7 grades, to include Maths and a language (English, Irish or another language) in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award; or FETAC Level 5 Full Award with 3 Distinctions
