Diploma in Project Management

Griffith College’s Professional Diploma in Project Management is a part-time course for project managers, project team members, and professional management. It supports students to understand the role of the project leader and project sponsor, use the project management process to define the project terms of reference, prepare a project plan, and finance a project. Learners also develop skills in monitoring, communicating, risk assessment, and controlling a project.

The programme runs over 12 weeks with 1 evening per week from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. Delivery includes on-campus classes and live online classes using Zoom. Exams take place on campus for courses delivered on campus and online, and attending exams in person is mandatory.

As a stand-alone programme, the diploma focuses on practical project management skills in time, cost, and quality, including preparation of documents and planning for successful project outcomes.

All applicants must be a user of Microsoft Office.

It is recommended that applicants have a good understanding of both written and spoken English.

• Applicants under 23 years of age: Minimum 5 O6s/H7s in the Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent award OR FETAC Level 5 Full Award
