International Thesis Scholarships at Sapienza University of Rome

The International Thesis Scholarship are given by each faculty through a Call, and students can apply at the faculty presidencies. The scholarship is intended for thesis research conducted abroad as part of a thesis project.

It is addressed to students who want to conduct part of their thesis research abroad and who are properly enrolled at least in the master’s degree first year or in the last/second to last year of a single cycle degree. Thesis research can take place at institutions, companies, foreign or community companies, supranational or international institutions of a higher scientific and cultural level.

Selection is handled through each faculty’s Call. The scholarship must be conducted for at least two consecutive months. The amount stated is for the whole internship: €2.821,00 gross (Regional Income Tax included).

• Applicant must want to conduct part of their thesis research abroad.
• Applicant must be properly enrolled at least in the master’s degree first year (master’s degree is stated as two years duration).
• Applicant may be properly enrolled in the last or second to last year of a single cycle degree.
• Thesis research must be conducted for at least two consecutive months.
• Thesis research must be conducted at institutions, companies, foreign or community companies, supranational or international institutions of a higher scientific and cultural level.

• Gross amount for the whole internship: €2.821,00 (Regional Income Tax included).
