Master of Development Studies

The Master of Development Studies is an interdisciplinary social science program addressing poverty, human development, and key development problems using various theoretical perspectives. The program aims to enhance understanding of development preconditions and content, focusing on integral mission connecting spiritual and physical human needs. It offers specializations including Organizational Development, Community Development, Theology and Development, Children and Development, and Conflict Transformation and Peace-building. The program runs for a minimum of two years and a maximum of six years, delivered face-to-face in full-time or part-time modes. Students acquire skills to formulate, evaluate, and implement development projects and policies with integrity and professionalism, particularly in Kenya and Africa.

• A minimum of an Upper Second Honours Degree or
• Lower Second Class Honours with at least two years' relevant experience
• GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B+) or equivalent from an accredited institution
