Bachelor in Accounting with Honours

The Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah offers a Bachelor in Accounting with Honours. Entry to the program requires one of the listed prior qualifications, plus additional requirements that include Mathematics at SPM level or an equivalent option.

Applicants must meet the stated Mathematics credit requirement and may need to take Enhancement Mathematics and English, depending on their prior study. Enhancement Mathematics and English may contribute to overall graduation credits, and students from Matriculation or Foundation or equivalent may be exempted if their program-level Mathematics and English are equivalent or higher than the SPM level.

Pass the Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C+ (Grade Point 2.33) in TWO (2) subjects; OR

Pass the Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with at least Jayyid grade; OR

Pass a Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR

Pass Foundation / Matriculation or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR

Diploma in Accounting (Level 4, MQF) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Applicants with CGPA below 2.50 but above 2.00 may be accepted subject to rigorous assessment; OR

Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) / Malaysian Vocational Diploma (DVM) subject to University Senate / Academic Board approval; OR

Advanced Malaysian Skills Diploma (DLKM) in Accounting with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subject to University Senate / Academic Board approval; OR

Hold an Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF) in Accounting or a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; OR

Other recognized equivalent qualifications accredited by the Malaysian Government.

AND ONE (1) credit in:

• Mathematics at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent; OR
• Applicants who passed Mathematics at SPM level must take and pass a Mathematics Enhancement subject equivalent to the SPM level. Enhancement Mathematics must be offered in the first semester or before registration with an unconditional offer.

Notes: Enhancement Mathematics and English may contribute to overall graduation credits. Students from Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent may be exempted from taking Enhancement Mathematics and English, provided the Mathematics and English offered at the program level are equivalent or higher than the SPM level.
