Bachelor of Medical Sciences Honours

The Bachelor of Medical Sciences (Honours) at Management and Science University is a medical science and health sciences programme with an interdisciplinary teaching-learning approach. Students study the human body, health, and diseases, and build skills in areas such as research, forensic medicine, public health medicine, and other soft skills.

Teaching includes structured modules across basic medical sciences, medical related courses, ethics and professionalism, and personal enrichment competencies. The programme includes an internship in various health care settings or relevant industries, based on student interest and planning, and it can be completed locally or internationally. Credit exemption may apply for students entering with a relevant diploma, subject to requirements and university approval.

• Pass STPM / Matriculation / A-Level / Pre-University Programme or equivalent with at least a Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in the following subjects: Biology / Physics, Chemistry; And five (5) credits or equivalent at the SPM level, including at least three (3) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English
• Note: Depending on the field of study, the institution reserves the right to require credits in all the subjects listed above.
• OR Diploma in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75
• OR Diploma in a related field with a CGPA below 2.75, plus a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in the relevant field
• OR Other qualifications recognized as equivalent
• For International Students: Candidates must achieve at least: i. IELTS score of 6.0 or ii. TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or equivalent.
