Diploma in Information Technology

The Diploma in Information Technology at Universiti Industri Selangor is a technically focused program covering computerisation, human factors, and system integration. Students study platform technologies and programming essentials, with additional industry-led modules designed in collaboration with the industry. The programme also supports specialisation beyond a single focus area.

Learning includes hands-on skills and practical projects. Students complete a final year project that integrates skills learned across the program and undertake industrial training at leading companies for real-world experience. Co-curricular activities support soft skills such as communication and leadership.

Possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least THREE (3) credits in any subjects (inclusive of Mathematics or any equivalent qualification); OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C of Grade Point (GP) in any subject or equivalent qualification and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent; OR

Possess Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a related field and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.

Certificate [Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework (MQF) in a related field with at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2. 00; OR

Other relevant & equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
