Doctor of Medicine Md

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) at Perdana University is a graduate entry medical programme. Students study Anatomy; Biochemistry, Genetics and Physiology; and Clinical Foundations in Medicine and Public Health/Ethics. The curriculum also includes Scholarly Concentrations and clinical clerkships such as Primary Care Clerkship and core clerkships in Internal Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Psychiatry/Neuroscience and Orthopaedics.

Training includes early and advanced clinical experiences through skills training in the Clinical Skills Unit and case-based learning. Throughout the programme, intersessions run periodically as self-contained modules. Examples of intersession themes include Global Health, Geriatric Medicine, Professionalism, and Palliative Medicine. Students also prepare for the USMLE as an exit examination.

Science Degree
Applicants with a science-related bachelor's degree (e.g., biology, chemistry) must have a minimum CGPA of 3.30.

Arts Degree
Applicants with a non-science or arts bachelor's degree (e.g., psychology, history) require a minimum CGPA of 3.75.

• MUET: Minimum Band 4
• IELTS: Minimum Band 6.0
• TOEFL (IBT): Minimum score of 600
• International Students: Achieve a minimum Band 3 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Low B2).
