The Graduate Certificate in Law E Learning at Brickfields Asia College is a postgraduate certificate designed to build essential legal knowledge and skills for a legal career. You complete four subjects and focus on legal research techniques, critical thinking, analysis, and the practical application of key legal principles. The course also supports the development of skills to analyse and synthesise information, solve complex legal problems, and communicate legal knowledge to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Study is organised through lectures and tutorials with a listed Student-Teacher Ratio. Lectures are set at 1 to 100 and tutorials at 1 to 50. The four subjects cover Intellectual Property Practice (Malaysia), Commercial Contracts Practice (Malaysia), Mergers and Acquisitions Practice (Malaysia), and Banking and Finance Practice (Malaysia). Successful completion of the certificate entitles you to transfer your credits onto the Veritas Masters Programmes, with terms and conditions.
You need a recognised Bachelor of Laws qualification; or other private or foreign Bachelor of Laws qualifications assessed on a case-by-case basis; or a recognised Postgraduate qualification. You must be at least 20 years of age, and above.
