Master of Law Enforcement

The Master of Law Enforcement builds knowledge for law enforcement and public sector management. Students study modules including Law and Legal System, Critical Issues in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Research Methodology, Decision Making With Accountability, Ethics and Governance, Risk Management in Policing, and Intelligence-led Policing. The programme also includes Elective 1 and Elective 2.

Study is delivered through Full Time or Part Time modes. Students complete a Final Year Project and have opportunities to practice theoretical knowledge in the field through industry partners in both the public and private sectors.

The course is designed for students who want to move into leadership roles in law enforcement and public sector management, and it supports future positions of authority in public safety and private security.

The minimum entry requirement for the degree programme is one of the following:

• Bachelor's Degree
• i. Minimum CGPA 2.50 in related fields. Those with CGPA lower than 2.50 with five years of working experience in related fields can be accepted.
• ii. Minimum CGPA 2.00 in non-related fields with relevant working experience can be accepted with internal assessment.
• iii. Minimum CGPA 2.00 in non-related fields and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite modules.
