Graduate Diploma in Education

The Graduate Diploma in Education (Diploma Pascasiswazah Pendidikan, DPLI) is a postgraduate education qualification. Admission considers a Bachelor’s degree at Level 6 (MQF), with a minimum CGPA, or a Bachelor’s degree at Level 6 (MQF) plus a minimum of working experience in education-related fields, or other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian government.

Tuition for international students is RM 12,000, with an approximate total fee of RM 19,000. Estimated tuition fees can vary based on the number of credit hours taken, and examination fees are charged per subject each semester. A deposit of RM 400 is charged and can be refunded after graduation or withdrawal. International students also have additional fees for visa processing for new students and accommodation is subject to vacancy.

• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; OR
• A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF), with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND can be accepted subject to a minimum of TWO years working experience in education related fields; OR
• Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian government as equivalent to the above requirements.

Achieve (MUET) or any English competency test equivalent to a Low B1 Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
