Master of Science in Public Health

The Master of Science in Public Health at Management and Science University is designed to prepare students for career options as public health scientists, researchers, and academicians. Students study epidemiology, disease prevention and control, family health, public health nutrition, environmental health, occupational health, health promotion, and health management.

The programme includes medical statistics, research methodology, and a research project. It is available as full-time and part-time study routes and requires 40 credit hours. Graduates are directed toward careers as Public Health Scientist, Academician, or Researcher.

i. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

ii. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.

iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii).
