Bachelor of Education Secondary

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) program equips students with competency in two subject disciplines, modern educational psychology, learning theories, teaching methods, adolescent psychology, and student management. The course includes school-based experience addressing specific issues within the Maldives education system and introduces curriculum development and educational research techniques. The program spans three academic years, structured over six semesters with 15 weeks per semester, and is delivered through a virtual campus.

Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education OR Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program. Alternative criteria include being 20 years old with completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated) and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program, or 20 years old with completion of secondary school, 2 years relevant work experience, and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program.
