Bachelor of Education Special Needs Education

The Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) course is designed to prepare students to develop and implement special education programmes for children with special learning needs. Students learn to devise learning and assessment strategies, and to identify and support primary-aged children with special needs. The course is delivered over three academic years, with six semesters, each lasting 15 weeks, via a virtual campus. Students undertake various modules including developmental psychology, language education, mathematics education, and special education topics, with practical teaching components.

2 passes at GCE advanced level OR Completion of the Mandhu College Foundation for Degree Studies Programme OR Attainment of a level 4 qualification in a relevant field. Attainment of a diploma or other level 5 qualification may grant entry into the second year. Attainment of an Associate Degree or another level 6 qualification may grant entry into the third and final year.
