Bachelor of Law

The Bachelor of Laws programme at Mandhu College addresses the requirements of the Maldives Constitution and the Supreme Court for law practitioners. Students study essential undergraduate law components, including Islamic Sharia, and modules focused on the Constitution of Maldives. The programme allows specialization in commercial law, criminal law, or human rights law. It is a 3-year academic course with 6 semesters, offered both on the main campus and virtually. The curriculum includes projects and examinations across core legal subjects and constitutional law.

• Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education
• OR Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field
• OR Attainment of the Mandhu College Foundation for Degree Studies
• Alternative Criteria: 20 years old with Level 4 qualification in unrelated field and MQA approved University Preparation Program
• OR 20 years old, secondary school completion, 2 years relevant work experience and MQA approved University Preparation Program
