Diploma in Information Technology

This diploma is for junior and middle management IT professionals in both private and public sectors, as well as individuals interested in pursuing IT careers. The program covers modern IT skills including operating systems, Visual Basic.Net, C programming, web publishing with HTML, Java Script, and Java Applets. It also teaches networking essentials with e-commerce elements and advanced database design and structured query language skills. The course lasts one academic year, divided into two semesters of 15 weeks each, and is offered through a virtual campus.

Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education OR Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a relevant field OR Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program. Alternative criteria include being 20 years old with completion of a Level 4 qualification (unrelated) plus successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program OR being 20 years old with completion of secondary school, 2 years of relevant work experience, and successful completion of an MQA approved University Preparation Program available at Mandhu College.
