Bachelor of Business Administration

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Kathmandu University is a four-year program aimed at preparing students for careers as managers and entrepreneurs. Students develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and conceptual ability to solve problems in business and social organizations. The program provides practical and theoretical knowledge of management for career advancement and further studies. It also emphasizes professional, social, ethical, and personal values. The BBA program offers two tracks: BBA (Emphasis) which allows students to focus on a functional area of management by completing 50 courses and earning a CGPA of 3.00 or more; and BBA (Honours) which includes research capability development and requires completion of 54 courses with a CGPA of 3.25 or more. Students must have completed all courses up to year II, semester II with at least a C+ grade to be eligible for the Honours degree.

Students who have passed all courses up to year II, semester II and secured at least 3.25 CGPA at the end of regular end semester examinations with grades of C+ and above in all courses are eligible for the BBA Honours.
