Eric Bleumink Scholarship

University of Groningen states that the Eric Bleumink Fellowship supports Master (MSc/MA/LL.M.) programmes. The grant covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance. University of Groningen notes that only a limited number of grants can be issued.

University of Groningen states that eligible candidates are those with provisional or unconditional admission to a master programme for consideration for a grant from the Eric Bleumink Fellowship. The fellowship is available for candidates holding the nationality of a country appearing in Appendix 1 and is tied to Master programmes starting in September only.

University of Groningen states that it is not possible to actively apply for an Eric Bleumink Fellowship. The University Admission Office, in consultation with Admission Boards of its faculties, determines which applicants will be nominated. The grant is awarded for a Master programme duration of one year or two years.

• Have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master programme before February.
• Have excellent academic performance, preferably to be confirmed by letters of recommendation.
• Have excellent grades during bachelor/undergraduate studies.
• Have excellent English language proficiency, in accordance with the admission requirements of the programme of choice.
• Be available for the whole period of the programme and be able to take part in the entire programme.
• Be in good health, so that health insurance in the Netherlands can be arranged.
• Hold the nationality of a country appearing in Appendix 1.
• Have no other means of financing the study in question.
