World Citizen Talent Scholarship , The Hague University of Applied Sciences

The World Citizen Talent Scholarship (WCTS) is developed and offered by The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Every year, up to three (one-time) scholarships worth EUR 5,000 are available to prospective Master’s students. The programme seeks intelligent, talented and ambitious people who consider themselves citizens of the world.

Applicants must originate from outside the Netherlands and not live in the Netherlands, be enrolling in The Hague University of Applied Science Pro for the first time, and have never applied for this scholarship before. Eligibility also requires conditional acceptance to join a chosen Master’s programme. The programmes covered are Master - Business Administration, Master - Financial Management & Control, and Master - International Communication Management.

Selection is based on assessments by a committee of essay judges. Judges select the three students with the most impressive essays to receive the scholarship. The jury’s decision is binding, and results are provided by email. Awarding occurs only after conditional acceptance and completion of all terms and conditions of enrolment.

Scholarship recipients are expected to participate actively in the programme and its evaluations, become an ambassador of the Master’s programmes, and contribute to the internationalisation of the institution. By submitting the essay, applicants give the university the right to publish it if desired.

2. Write an English-language essay with a minimum of 950 words and a maximum of 1100 words using the provided prompt.
3. Submit the assignment via formdesk and complete all required fields.
