Doctor of Philosophy in Education Phd

Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhD) at the University of the Punjab is offered through the Institute of Education & Research and the Faculty of Education. It is a PhD program under the Department of Advanced Studies in Education and uses a revised scheme of studies for Education.

Teaching follows a semester system. The session begins in Fall (November) and Spring (April). The program duration is 3 years, and admission includes an admission test and an interview conducted by the Institute, with written test and academic merit marks required for PhD.

• M. Phil/M. S/Equivalent degree in Education in First Division/CGPA > 3.00/4.00 from a HEC recognized university.
• All candidates will have to qualify admission test and interview conducted by the Institute.
• The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 70% marks for Ph.D.
• The candidate must obtain ?19 out of 40 marks in academic merit.
