Master of Philosophy in Education Mphil

The Master of Philosophy in Education (MPhil) is offered by the Institute of Education & Research and the Faculty of Education at the University of the Punjab. The program includes an approved curriculum and a course outline under a revised scheme of studies for M.Phil Education.

Teaching follows a semester system. Admission requires a written admission test and an interview conducted by the Institute. Applicants must qualify the written test with 50% marks for M.Phil and obtain ?19 out of 40 marks in academic merit.

Minimum qualifications required of an applicant for admission to M. Phil in Education programmes are:

• Masters' Degree in Education or equivalent (16 years of education;130 credit hours) as per HEC rules.
• All candidates will have to qualify admission test and interview conducted by the Institute.
• The candidates must have to qualify the written test with 50% marks for M.Phil.
• The candidate must obtain ?19 out of 40 marks in academic merit.
