The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of San Agustin is a four-year, full-time, campus-based program. It covers fundamental principles of chemistry and includes modern chemical instrumentation with hands-on components. Students also take specialized courses such as natural products, organic spectroscopy, analytical chemistry, microbiology, and chemical biology.
The program totals 162 units, with core chemistry content and professional courses, plus chem elective courses, professional engagement through OJT, and thesis courses. Students also take a comprehensive exam. Graduates can take the Chemist Licensure Examination and may begin careers in industry, government, or entrepreneurship, or pursue graduate degree programs.
