The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship at the University of Santo Tomas is designed to train would-be entrepreneurs in starting and operating a business. It focuses on building character and includes Social Entrepreneurship, integrating entrepreneurship with social consciousness and ethics education. Students combine classroom training with experiential learning to develop skills, values, and attitudes for entrepreneurship.
The program culminates in a capstone project where students prepare a business plan and implement the business. The curriculum includes courses such as Basic Microeconomics, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneural Behavior, Business Statistics, and Entrepreneural Accounting, plus topics across marketing, finance, human resource management, production and operations management, information technology, and strategic management.
Career opportunities listed for graduates include establishing and managing their own business, helping manage their family business, and working in organizations where entrepreneurial competencies are required, such as Business Development and Corporate Planning Assistant/Staff and Marketing Assistant/Staff.
