The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, Major in Recreation and Leisure Management at the University of Santo Tomas is a four-year degree focused on recreation and leisure within tourism and hospitality. It provides an integrated study of the management and operation of recreation and leisure attractions, facilities, and services. The program also covers the positive use of leisure time while traveling and learning leadership in the recreational environment.
Students take courses that include National Service Training Program 1 and 2, Purposive Communication, Readings in Philippine History, and Physical Activities Toward Health and Fitness. Tourism and hospitality learning includes Macro Perspective of Tourism and Hospitality and Risk Management as Applied to Safety, Security, and Sanitation. The curriculum follows a term schedule with a first term (August to December), a second term (January to May), and a special term (June to July).
