Diploma in Business Practice Human Resource Management and Psychology

Temasek Polytechnic offers a part-time Diploma in Business Practice (Human Resource Management and Psychology). The programme builds skills in competitive business strategy and human resource management, including navigating HR policies within the legislative framework and analysing market trends. It also prepares you for people and talent management, with a focus on supporting positive workplace culture and employee engagement. Training includes modules in Human Resource Management, Applied Psychology at the Workplace, People Management & Development, and Business Management & Marketing.

You complete the diploma by finishing 5 modular certificates, with a certificate issued after successful completion of each modular certificate. Learning is facilitated through face-to-face and online synchronous sessions, plus asynchronous e-learning. Classes run 3 hours per session, on 3 days per week, with sessions listed as 7pm–10pm. You study topics such as talent acquisition and management, total rewards management, employment laws and guidelines, workplace decision-making, counselling psychology, workplace wellness, learning and talent development, and communication and IT skills.
