Diploma in Interior Design Practice

The Diploma in Interior Design Practice at Temasek Polytechnic is a part-time specialist diploma focused on managing both design and business in the interior design industry. It combines essential skills in Brand Management, Project Management, and Service Innovation, with Strategy Development and Practice Evaluation to support interior design firms and project delivery. Graduates also develop know-how in Service Design, including understanding psychology in design, alongside strategic and operational management.

The programme is delivered as facilitated learning (face-to-face or online synchronous) with asynchronous e-learning. Learning runs for 1 year part-time, with sessions scheduled from 7pm to 10pm, three times a week, and 3 hours per session (3 days/week). The structure uses two Post-Diploma Certificates with a total duration of 240 hours or 16 credit units. Assessments use written assignments, quizzes, projects, and presentations.
