The Technical University in Zvolen (TUZVO) is a public higher education institution in Zvolen. It preserves heritage connected with earlier forestry and wood technology education, tracing institutional roots to forestry and related programs that developed from earlier academies and institutes, and it was established by a government directive. TUZVO offers academic study through faculties including Forestry, Wood Sciences and Technology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences, and technology-focused and management-oriented programs.
