Bachelor S Degree Animal Studies Research

The Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Studies & Research is a cross-disciplinary program about animals, focused on how humans conceive of non-human animals and how those conceptions have changed over time, across cultures, and across different ways of thinking. It covers human animal behavior and relations, animals in agriculture and the food chain, companion animals, and animals as subjects of testing and research. It also studies animals in the wild or in captivity and their interactions with ecosystems.

The degree is delivered through distance learning and is described as 100% based on textbooks. It requires 130 academic credits. The structure includes 40 credits in General Education and 66 academic credits in Animal Studies & Research Online, plus additional subjects. Credits may include general education credits transferred from previous education and credits validated from professional experience.
