Bachelor S Degree Astrophysics

This Bachelor’s Degree in Astrophysics explores the scientific study of the universe. It builds on astronomy by applying physics and chemistry to explain the birth, life, and death of stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae, and other elements and phenomena in the universe. It also addresses the origin of the universe and topics including dark matter and black holes.

Study is delivered as an online distance-learning Bachelor’s Degree. The program requires 130 academic credits and is 100% based on textbooks. It includes 40 credits in General Education (which may be transferred from previous education and professional experience) and 45 Astrophysics Online academic credits. Reports, Projects and Thesis support BIU earned credits.

* Admission is open for adults over 23 years of age.
