Bachelor S Degree Bioethics

Bircham International University offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioethics via distance learning. The program explores the moral and ethical issues that emerge from advances, policy, and practice in biology and medicine. Bioethics focuses on ethical questions across life sciences, biotechnology, medicine and medical ethics, politics, law, theology, and philosophy.

Students study topics such as organ donation and transplantation, genetic research, sexuality and gender, death and dying, ethical treatment of animals, and environmental concerns. The program is delivered through distance education and is 100% based on textbooks. It requires 130 academic credits, including 40 credits in General Education and 84 academic credits in Bioethics Online, plus additional subjects.

• General education minimum requirements: 40 credits.

• General college level continuing education course. No pre-requisites.
