Bachelor S Degree Childhood Special Education

The Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood & Special Education via distance learning creates a link between child care and early education and preprimary and primary bachelor’s degrees. It focuses on what, why, and how of developmentally appropriate practices, including adaptation by age, individual, social, and cultural factors. The program is for early childhood professionals working with children aged three to twelve, and it also covers characteristics of students with special needs, assistive technologies, and definitions and classifications of developmental challenges.

The program is delivered 100% based on textbooks. It requires 130 academic credits, with 40 credits in general education (which may be transferred from previous education and professional experience), and 63 academic credits in Childhood & Special Education online, plus other additional subjects. Admission is open for adults over 23 years of age. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.
