Bachelor S Degree Consciousness Studies

Bircham International University offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Consciousness Studies via distance learning. The program integrates ideas from psychology, philosophy, modern physics, religion, neuroscience, cognitive science, anthropology, and linguistics to understand what consciousness is and how it works. Consciousness is described as individual awareness of thoughts, memories, feelings, sensations, and environments, and as perception of internal or external existence.

The degree is delivered fully online through distance learning and is based on textbooks. The program requires 130 academic credits, including 40 credits in general education and 63 academic credits in Consciousness Studies Online, plus other additional subjects. It includes academic work such as reports, projects, and a thesis for Bircham International University earned credits.

• 130 credits above a Secondary School.
• General education minimum requirements: 40 credits. A minimum transfer of 40 credits from previous education should be accounted as an equivalent of general education credits towards the Bachelor's Degree online via distance learning.
