The Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science via distance learning studies the physical, chemical, and biological processes that take place on Earth. It also covers the social, political, and cultural processes that affect the planet. The program aims to provide solutions to environmental problems, including climate change, sustainable development, pollution, and environmental health, using a balance between experimental and social sciences.
Learning is delivered as a distance degree program for adults and professionals. The program structure is 100% based on textbooks and requires 130 academic credits. General education includes 40 credits (which may be transferred from previous education and professional experience), and Environmental Science Online includes 63 academic credits. Credits earned through BIU work are described as reports, projects, and a thesis.
