Bachelor S Degree Geotechnical Engineering

The Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering at Bircham International University is a distance learning program focused on the utilization of natural materials for civil engineering and construction. It covers topics including structural foundations, slope stability, earth dams, natural and man made hazard mitigation, site and material characterization techniques, modeling of natural materials, design of pavement systems, and environmental assessment and remediation.

The program is delivered via distance learning and described as 100% based on textbooks. Students complete 130 academic credits, including 40 credits in General Education and 60 Academic credits in Geotechnical Engineering Online, plus other additional subjects. Credits may be transferred from previous education and knowledge may be validated from professional experience.
