Bachelor S Degree Herbology Phytotherapy

Bircham International University offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Herbology & Phytotherapy delivered via distance learning. The course covers modern herbology practices and considers influences from different cultures. It classifies herbal prescriptions by the organs they affect, and teaches the fundamentals of growing, drying, storing, and cooking herbs, plus making infusions, decoctions, oils, and ointments.

The program includes 130 academic credits and combines general education with Herbology & Phytotherapy online study. It uses a textbook-based structure and includes reports, projects, and a thesis for credits earned through BIU. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript. Academic supervision is provided by Nuria Lorite Ayán.

Admission is open for adults over 23 years of age. 130 credits above a Secondary School. General education minimum requirements: 40 credits. A minimum transfer of 40 credits from previous education should be accounted as an equivalent of general education credits towards the Bachelor's Degree online via distance learning.
