Bachelor S Degree Paleontology

The Bachelor’s Degree in paleontology focuses on the study of ancient life, using fossil evidence to explain how organisms changed over time and what the planet was like long ago. It covers evolution, and how paleontology uses knowledge from different disciplines to understand the processes that lead to the origination and destruction of different types of organisms since life arose.

The degree is delivered via distance learning and is based on textbooks (100% based on textbooks). The program requires 130 academic credits, including 40 credits in General Education (with a minimum transfer of 40 credits from previous education and/or professional experience) and 57 academic credits for Paleontology Online. Admission is open for adults over 23 years of age, with fees that include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.
