Bachelor S Degree Toxicology

The Bachelor S Degree Toxicology is a distance-learning bachelor’s program focused on the scientific principles behind toxic actions of substances. Students study topics including the chemical nature of injurious substances, their uptake and metabolism, their mode of action, and methods used in safety evaluations and risk assessment. The program also covers biogeochemical cycles of toxins and their interactions with biological systems at molecular, cellular, organismal, and ecosystem levels.

Learning is delivered 100% based on textbooks through Toxicology via distance learning. The program requires 130 academic credits, composed of 40 credits in General Education plus 81 academic credits in Toxicology Online and other additional subjects. Students may transfer general education credits from previous education and may have credits validated from professional experience. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.

This program is for adults over 23 years of age and is described as a distance degree program for Adults & Professionals. Students complete Toxicology Online subjects such as Human Anatomy & Physiology, Toxicology, Pollutants & Pesticides, and Immunology.
