Doctor Honoris Causa

Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Vicente del Bosque González. The academic ceremony involved the university’s Gran Canciller and the university rector, along with other named institutional leaders. The program included an introductory address by the sponsor and a lecturer’s speech by Vicente del Bosque.

In his address, Vicente del Bosque focused on responsibility and on transforming others, aiming to help people feel better each day. He also linked sport with education and training across levels, highlighted support for disability, and emphasized values such as respect for human dignity, humility, tolerance, and ethical and social conduct. He referred to the Grado en Ciencias de la Actividad Física y del Deporte taught at the university.
