The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Astronomy via distance learning covers galaxies, stars, planets, and ground- and space-based phenomena. It focuses on topics such as cosmology, formation and evolution of stars and galaxies, high-energy astrophysics, active galaxies, supernovae, nucleon synthesis, and motion of stars and galaxies, including optical and infrared observational astronomy.
