Doctor PhD Degree Bioethics

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Bioethics examines moral and ethical issues connected to advances, policy, and practice in biology and medicine. It covers ethical questions at the relationships among life sciences, biotechnology, medicine and medical ethics, politics, law, theology, and philosophy. Example topics include organ donation and transplantation, genetic research, sexuality and gender, death and dying, ethical treatment of animals, and environmental concerns.

Study is delivered through distance learning. The program lists an average duration of 24 months and a structure made up of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. Students complete 45 to 72 academic credits, including Bioethics Online and a research methodology and final project or thesis. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript, and payment plans are available up to 36 monthly installments.
