Doctor PhD Degree Childhood Special Education

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Childhood & Special Education via distance learning bridges child care and early education for preprimary and primary Doctor Ph.D. Degrees. It focuses on developmentally appropriate practices, including adaptation in terms of age, individual, social and cultural factors. The program also covers characteristics of students with special needs, assistive technologies, and definitions and classifications of developmental challenges for children aged three to twelve.

Study is delivered online through distance learning and follows a program structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. The program requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program, including 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis, plus 42 academic credits in Childhood & Special Education online. Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age.
