Doctor PhD Degree Circular Economy

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Circular Economy at Bircham International University is a distance learning program focused on how to reuse, share, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, and recycle products and services to create a closed-loop system. It aims to minimize resource inputs and reduce waste and pollution by keeping products, materials, equipment, and infrastructure in use for longer.

The program is delivered online via distance learning and is structured as 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program and includes 39 academic credits for Circular Economy Online, plus research methodology and a final project or thesis worth 18 academic credits. Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age.
