Doctor PhD Degree Cultural Studies

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Cultural Studies (via distance learning) uses multidisciplinary perspectives to examine how cultural practices connect to everyday life, history, knowledge, ideology, economy, politics, technology, and the environment. It also looks at how culture is generated and disseminated, and how cultural forces relate and interact.

The program is structured as 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program, with an average duration of 24 months. The study composition includes 42 academic credits for Cultural Studies Online and 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.
