Doctor PhD Degree Disaster Management

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Disaster Management via distance learning focuses on the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with humanitarian aspects of emergencies, including preparedness, response, and recovery. The course addresses disaster types such as geophysical, hydrological, climatological, meteorological, and biological disasters.

Study is delivered through distance learning with a program structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. The program requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a master’s program, including 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age who have a master’s degree or an international equivalent (5 years of study). Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript.
