The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Educational Technology via distance learning applies theory- and research-based strategies to integrate technology resources and technology-based methods into classroom practices. It is designed from a teacher’s perspective and reviews the qualities and benefits of computer technology options for educators, while focusing on educational technology theories and applications.
The program is delivered online through distance learning. It includes instructional design principles, methods, media, and computing, using a learner-centered approach that focuses on designing instructions enhanced technologically. The academic structure is 70% textbooks and 30% thesis, with 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program and an average duration of 24 months.
Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age.
