The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Genetics (Life & Earth Sciences) is delivered through distance learning and focuses on current information, knowledge, and applications in genetics. The program includes Genetics Online plus additional subjects, and it also includes research methodology and a final project or thesis.
The program uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits above a Master’s program, with an average duration of 24 months. Fees include the program of study, textbooks, study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript. The books may take between two to five weeks to reach the student’s address after the fee is paid.
Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age. A Master’s degree or international equivalent (5 years of study) is required for admission. Previous knowledge in this field of study is required.
