Doctor PhD Degree Information Science

The Doctor Ph.D. Degree in Information Science via distance learning focuses on the effective analysis, collection, storage, retrieval, and protection of information. It covers the use and archive of information and knowledge, and how technology supports managing data so it can be converted into useful knowledge.

The program is delivered through flexible distance learning and uses a structure of 70% textbooks and 30% thesis. It requires 45 to 72 academic credits, with 39 academic credits for Information Science Online and 18 academic credits for research methodology and a final project or thesis. The program also uses included study guide, evaluation and assessment, diploma, and transcript in the fees.

Admission is open for adults over 27 years of age. A Master's degree or international equivalent (5 years of study) is required for admission. Previous knowledge in this field of study is required.
